Since planning her own wedding over 18 years ago, Alison enjoyed helping her friends and family members plan theirs. She knew she had a special talent for getting things done, focussing in on practicalities and details and always wondered if she could do it full time. It wasn't until Alison moved from Australia to Colorado that she hd the opportunity to formally study wedding planning and then launch her own planning business, 'A Bride’s Best Mate'. A Bride’s Best Mate expanded rapidly, booking out the first full wedding season and hiring employees in the first year.
Alison loves thinking outside the box, and uses her 'we can make it work' attitude to help couples problem solve and plan both traditional and non-traditional celebrations!
