How to Book an Appointment

Our goal here at The First Look is to help connect you with a knowledgeable, local planner who can quickly answer questions to help alleviate some of the stress of the wedding planning process. Whether you’re a client looking for sporadic help here or there, or you’re a client that wants recurring help from a single planner, we’ve got you covered! Regardless of the reason you landed on this platform, we’re here to help make your experience here as smooth as possible.

Step 1: Determine Appointment Topic and Duration

View our All Appointments Offered page to see a list of all appointment types that The First Look offers. If you don’t see yours listed, feel free to book anyway as a “Miscellaneous Appointment”. Our planners are here to help with whatever questions you may have. Once you’ve determined an appointment duration and type, then you can search your search for a planner.

Step 2: Pick a Planner

We offer multiple ways to pick which planner works best for you and the topic you’d like to cover. Currently, you can search for a planner by name, or by location:

  • Search by State: If you want a planner in a specific state because that’s where you’re getting married, then feel free to scroll through our planners to find the planner that supports the state you’re looking for.

  • Search by Planner Name: If you want a planner that you’ve worked with before, then you can search for them on the Book Now page to view their calendar’s availability.

Step 3: Booking an Appointment

Once you’re ready to book an appointment, our scheduling system will do all the work for you!

1. Select your planner & scroll to see their calendar in their bio page.

2. Pick your time:

  • You’ll be walked through their available hours, and can book a specific time that works best for you.

3. Fill out the Intake Form:

  • Fill out your personal information, and the rest of the intake form questions. The more you write here, the better prepared your planner will be to assist you with the topic you’re looking to cover.

4. Client Service Agreement

  • Agree to the client service agreement in order to book an appointment with one of our planners. You can find that here if you’d like to review prior to booking an appointment.

5. Pay

  • The First Look uses Stripe as its payment processing system. You can use all major credit cards when booking an appointment with us.

6. You’re Booked!!

7. Email Campaigns:

  • You’ll receive an email when an appointment is booked, a reminder email 12 hours before you’re appointment, and then a follow up survey after your appointment.
