Since planning her own wedding over 18 years ago, Alison enjoyed helping her friends and family members plan theirs. She knew she had a special talent for getting things done, focussing in on practicalities and details and always wondered if she could do it full time. It wasn't until Alison moved from Australia to Colorado that she hd the opportunity to formally study wedding planning and then launch her own planning business, 'A Bride’s Best Mate'. A Bride’s Best Mate expanded rapidly, booking out the first full wedding season and hiring employees in the first year. Alison loves thinking outside the box, and uses her 'we can make it work' attitude to help couples problem solve and plan both traditional and non-traditional celebrations!

Alison is a true romantic and loves to share in her clients vision for their special day. Alison has been a part of Sunshower Weddings' team for four years and a lead planner for two. She uses her more than 15 years of project management skills with her artistic and creative spirit to execute what her clients so often exclaim as "the best day of their lives". Alison was born to manage details and is known for her soothing and calming presence. She is an expert in thinking through the minute and keeping her eye on the big picture. Her favorite parts of the planning process are the book ends: the excitement of first connecting with couples and creatively finding ways to make their dream wedding a reality; and then the fulfillment, joy and beauty of the wedding day celebration.

Jesse has been in the events and wedding planning for 15 years. Coming from the luxury hotel and restaurant industry, she started her company, Events By Jesse, 7 years ago, based on the principles of high-end service at any budget. Jesse and her team have been fortunate enough to plan over 100 weddings for clients in all different aesthetics and price points. While they are thrilled to plan any wedding, their favorite kinds of clients are non-traditional, edgy, trend-setting, and quirky. Jesse is a born-and-bred New Yorker, but a total europhile, and has studied and lived in Europe many times over the years. She received her MBA in Hotel Management from the Universite Centre Cesar Ritz in Switzerland, where she learned the art of fine service and makes sure that her clients experience the benefits of her education. Additionally living in Germany, the UK, and traveling the world has given her a unique perspective on planning destination weddings, which is a passion of hers and where she sees the future of her business.

Hey! I'm Kenzie, and I started I Do... Weddings when I was in college. Weddings were my side gig in school, but the closer I got to the end of school, the more weddings became my focus. After I finished grad school, I decided I would go full-time with weddings! I have hired an amazing team of planners, designers, and coordinators, so we can do amazing weddings all over Tennessee. We work primarily in East Tennessee but have begun to expand all over Tennessee and beyond. We offer Coordinating, Semi Planning, and Full Planning packages to fit your planner needs.

I have found a career that matches what I enjoy most with what I am good at, and I have found it with wedding planning! I graduated from Winthrop University in 2013 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. I worked in Customer Service and Finance for most of my career before starting Maready & Co. Events! Planning my own wedding propelled me into the world of wedding planning and I haven't looked back. My favorite parts of wedding planning are by far our vision boards, design meetings and wedding day execution!

I started Event Planning back in 2014 more as something creative to do in my spare time! I had been planning parties since I was a child, and had decided to explore that option on a more professional Level. In 2017 I opened an Official Office and took the Business from a part time Passion, to a part time Career! By the end of 2018, I was ready to dive in full time starting in 2019. I am now a full time Event Planner and have worked a wide variety of events with a focus being on Weddings and Corporate Events. I have a passion for getting creative with design or even ideas for event flow or content! I love to create unique ideas that no one has seen before or find creative solutions to struggles when it comes to hosting an event and balancing the needs of multiple people.

Mountainside Events was formed by Taylor Strope, a native Coloradoan. Taylor has been in the hospitality industry for over 14 years and has planned hundreds of weddings and events in the region. Born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado, she loves the arts and music community Fort Collins offers. Besides planning events, some of Taylors’ favorite things are; spending time with friends and family outdoors, live music, drinking an ice cold craft beer or a good cup of coffee, barbecues and campfires. She embraces the “Colorado Culture” and has created a company that does the same.

Yvonne Caole-Sousa launched UME in 2015 after years of management in the hospitality industry. Her career began while finishing her degree in Sports, Entertainment and Event Management at the University of Johnson & Wales. Following, she gained knowledge and experienced throughout her trade as a Banquet Manager, Food and Beverage Director and Social Catering Sales Manager for a Luxury Boutique hotel and a Golf Resort. Soon she realized working for a venue was limited and she craved more. With the support of her family and past clients, UME was created. Yvonne is a conversationalist and can always create a clear picture of anything your trying to imagine. Displaying a true representation of her clients in the design and creation of the event. She will create outside of the box, and has the experience and knowledge to make sure all the logistics have been covered. With Yvonne, your event is not bound to any social or traditional standard, but rather making it your own. Creating a unique event is what drives her.
